i once stood on a deck of a boat.
overlooking the horizon, all i can think about is the scorching sun.
only still water.
blue as far as the eye can see.
i peered down.
and i see a darker shade of blue.
how deep is the sea?
what is underneath it all?
i look up to the sky.
another shade of blue.
will i ever reached the highest point of the sky?
what is the highest point?
i look to my left and right.
more people on the deck.
they look like tiny dots in a dot-to-dot book.
how amazing it is to be a tiny dot under the canopy of the blue sky.
how incredible it is to be a tiny dot floating on the water.
i am in awe.
i am in amazement.
i am small.
and i am scared for what those shades of blue can do if ever it decided to envelope me.
it’s bound to happen.
it is only a matter of time.
